Humans are naturaly inclined to destruction; humans destroy to feel out other people and to get known. Humans are the beings who know and understand the word "self" best. The higher your desire to get known, the higher your tendencies to destroy.

Greed, vanity, hunger, and want for everything.

These are aspects of 'self'.

Life is a constant cycle of creation and destruction; humans destroy to get known and create to have more things to destroy. Humans create their succors for them to continue their 'quest' to get known. Humans, although you might strongly deny it, are impressed when destruction occurs. Things of beauty created by our hands are awed and loved, but only for the entire duration that people like it; mostly only for a short span. However, humans remember and fear and know (even admire) destruction created through time. How much do you know about Da Vinci? Not as much as you know about rome's holy crusades. How much do you know about Albert Einstein? Again, not as much as you know the Atomic bomb that destroyed a lot of lives and land. How much do you know about America's humanitarian missions to Iraq? Surely, not as much as the World Trade Center bombing.

See?

Who is Ghandi? You'll know more about Napoleon Boneparte.
Who is John F. Kenedy? Most likely, you only know about his assasination.

See?

There's a lot of destruction occuring; creation as well. But the creation is there only to support destruction's needs and wants. The human's wants.

Sooner or later, we will be destroying our own beings. Sooner or later we will be destroying everything that exists; living or not.

If God truly exists...

"Who is God?"
"You know when you wanted something so badly you wish so hard?"
"Yeah?"
"God's the one who ignores you."
- The Island

Do you pray to God everyday? I mean the kind of prayer you do before and after a class, before and after you have your meal, and before you go to sleep? Doesn't it feel a bit too... routinely for you? You do the sign of the cross, then you say 'Dear God' or something like that, then you thank him for what he has given you, then you ask him for something more. After that, an 'amen' then another sign of the cross.
Some people lose faith in God like the person who said "God's the one who ignores you." That's very typical for a human being to react; if he does not get what he want, he either cheats or sulks at some dark corner blaming what went wrong on anybody else. You can't cheat God; he's almighty (according to religion), right? Thus, he sulks. So much for being a man of God.
I don't pray. Yup, I don't pray. God's not Santa Claus for crying out loud, he's not supposed to give you what you want, he's supposed to give you what you need. Another reason why I don't pray is that prayers are a bit waylaid these days. Some people would pray like this: "Dear God, I pray that there will be no more massive storms hitting our town etc." That's asking for a massive miracle to manifest. If the person praying prayed like this; "Dear God, please give us strength and the will to carry on through the storms that hit our town." Now that'd be better.
Most prayers nowadays are scripted ones, if not, they only ask for some simple things they can get if they worked for it. A lot of prayers, if not all, are supposed to be addressed to Santa Claus because of the nature of the prayer; asking for something! Let's face it; some people pray as a publicity stunt *coughpoliticianscough*.
Main principle: Never pray, life is as life does. Never pray, but thank him with all your heart if something that seems impossible comes to your favor or for the greater good.

Crap. SO much for Christmas.

Are you even a christian to celebrate it?

Did you know that Amon and a LOT of other egyptian deities are born on this exact date?

and are you aware that in the bible, it states NO date as to when christ was born?

=)
Look above, a sarcastic smile.

So jolly good to have a date to be GOOD!

Nobody really cares if you're Emo.
In fact, many might hate you for being too much of an Emo.
I mean...
Crying because of something so shallow?
Doing the same mistake again and again and again and again then blaming it on someone everytime?

That's stupid.
(maybe an Emoist's raging right now... then cry later accusing me of harassing him/her)

Emo is music
period
.

Emo is merely music.
And unless YOU can get something out of it (like the wise musicians who get money and fame)
stop making yourself bleed (literaly)
stop crying (pathetically) and making your heavy make up uhhh... stain =/

Emo's only music.
Not a religion.
Not a way of life.

Not a religion, why?
Because it delves on too much sadness (as if the world needs more of that)
and a religion is SUPPOSED to make your life better.
Not a way of life, why?
Because it speaks too much of sadness (as if the world needs more of that)
and you CANNOT live life like that. You'll be affecting people around you.

Self pitty won't do anything for you.
anything good, that is.
It will only attract more people like you to yourself.
and make a 'club for crying over a dead bug'.

Listen.
Appreciate.

Emo's not a religion.
Emo's not the way of life.

Listen.
Appreciate.

Did you even notice that some snipets of their lyrics are actually good?

"And though you're broken and defeated, your weary widow marches on"
-My Chemical Romance

or were you too busy crying over something stoopid to notice that?

Jesus Guzman woke up with a start; his beeper was beeping madly. Shaking the cobwebs of sleep from his eyes, he wondered what time it is and looked at the message. Almost instantly, he jumped to his feet and donned his red uniform. Within minutes, he left his house, barely having anything to eat, and sped of to where he was needed; the world trade center.
Within a few minutes, he arrived on the site. There was chaos everywhere! The first tower of the twin skyscrapers was already burning with the tail of a plane jutting out somewhere in the building's middle. People were running everywhere; the air was filled with dirt and sounds of horrified screams and blaring sirens of all sorts. He found his fellow paramedics within a few seconds and came to them.
Everyone had a grim but alert expression on their faces almost everybody was busy tending to the injured. "Oh my God... What happened here?" Jesus asked no one in particular. From behind an ambulance, another paramedic with a minor injury to the head replied, "Jesus! Over here! You won't believe this! Some bastard rammed a plane on that building!" the paramedic exclaimed pointing to the building. "Joseph! What the hell happened to you!?"
"Nah!! Don't mind me! Go help the others."
Jesus rushed towards the building haphazardly. He saw someone run out of the building, limping. He rushed towards him. But he saw no more.
Jesus woke up and tried shaking the disorientation away. He was still were he was before he heard the loud BANG. Instinctively, he looked towards the building; but no building was there. The first tower already collapsed and the second tower was burning with an airplane stuck to it just like the first building. The person he was supposed to aid was not there; a lot of the scene around him already changed; as if time moved without him. Puzzled, he rushed back towards where the other paramedics were.
He was relieved to see them there. He ran towards them and asked what happened; no one answered. Thinking that everyone was busy, he went to ask Joseph. Joseph was still there and as Jesus asked, Joseph never answered. Feeling nervous of the reactions of the people, he rushed towards a group of paramedics tending to someone on a stretcher, his dear friend, Mary, was one of these paramedics. "She'd answer for sure" he told himself.
But before he could ask, he looked at the person on the stretcher, he looked very familiar... And as he looked down on the person his team mates were trying to revive, his fear became a grim reality. At that moment, he never understood what was happening; he seriously thought that he was stuck in a very horrible dream as he still lay asleep on his bed at home. He knew who was lying there on the stretcher, though his face was covered with a lot of blood and dirt. Despite his training and preparedness to such scenes of blood and decapitation, he let out a scream.
He knew the man well.
He knew who it was who lay dead on the stretcher.
It was himself.

II SAMUEL 24: And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

"What do you wish for?"
"What's that?"
"Peace in Iraq? No more calamities to hit Philippines this year?"
"Anything else?"

"But I ask you;"
"Are you sure of the things that you want?"
"Don't you know that you're making a complete hypocrite of yourself?"
"Now, now that's pretty obvious!! Don't tell me did not see that yourself!"
"No? You don't understand what I mean?"
"Silly of me... Of course you don't!"
"You did not understand yourself; what more of me!?"
"Ok, since I have the time to do so, let me elaborate things for you."

"Look at you! Peace in Iraq!? How on Earth would you achieve that??"
"I'm a fan of Francis Magalona; let me quote him:"
"You can't talk peace and have a gun"
"Pretty obvious, ne? Peace thru war would breed nothing but another war."
"Heck. Are you even sure that peace is what you want?"
*coughAbundantOilFieldscough*

"Are you so much of a catholic that you wish for that?"
"For no more calamities to hit our country?"
"I understand that you want what's best for your home; that's human nature."
"But again, how on Earth will that happen!?"
"Mother Nature, like time, will not stop its duties for us."
"It would've made more sense if you wished for the country to be prepared better."
"It would have been better if you wished for its politicians to stop ConCon/ConAss/ChaCha for now and help those ravaged by the storms."

"And about you being a hypocrite, let me explain:"
"You who wish for such goodness is not who you are."
"If you asked for such wishes, you would've spent more money and time."
"More money and time for these instead of your billboards, lavish cars, campaigns and whatnot."
"I would not grant your wish unless you do what you can do"
"For your very own wishes."
